About Purpleociti: Purpleociti is not just another classroom project; it is a real-world business endeavor initiated by our middle school students. This innovative class is designed to provide hands-on experience in business principles and management skills. The Vision: Led by dedicated co-teachers, Paul Pyatt and Poul Heminger, our students have been provided with an initial seed capital of $250 in venture capital to kickstart Purpleociti. This venture is not just about theoretical learning; it’s about applying business math and business English literacy skills in a practical, authentic environment.

Equity and Collaboration: One of the unique aspects of Purpleociti is our commitment to creating a level playing field for all students. Each student is assigned a role that aligns with their skill set, fostering teamwork and collaboration. This experience goes beyond traditional assessments, as the success of our business venture will depend on the collective effort and dedication of our students in a real world environment.
